The library maintains a collection of local newspapers on microfilm to support the research of historians, genealogists, and others interested in exploring Buckhannon's past. Microfilm may be requested at the circulation desk; ID will be required while using the materials. Researchers may print images for $0.10 per page, or users can choose to download images to their own flash drive or other removable storage device.
Please note: Many microfilm reels, particularly for older papers, have missing issues. These issues were not available when the papers were transferred to microfilm.
